With a hand-wound mechanical watch, the crown must be wound clockwise once a day. Initium manual-winding watches, equipped with the Unitas 6497 movement, offer a 42-hour power reserve. Created in the 1950s, this Swiss caliber is renowned for its reliability and robustness, hence its nickname “the tractor”.
The automatic mechanical watch is recharged by wrist movements. With a 38-hour power reserve, it stops if not worn, but can be wound manually via the crown. Initium automatic watches use Swiss calibers ETA 2892 or SW300, renowned for their precision, reliability and robustness.
The tourbillon watch, a symbol of horological excellence, compensates for the effects of gravity for optimum precision. Initium models, equipped with Swiss movements, combine innovation, elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.
